Day-by-Day Itinerary
1
Day 1: Uros – Amantani
We begin this tour at 7:45 a.m. with the transfer from your hotel to the port. We then set off towards the Uros floating island (approx. 25 min). On arrival we are given a small welcome by the inhabitants, then our guide provides a full explanation of the people, customs and features of this fascinating place; we visit 2 of the 80 islands and also have the chance to take a short ride (approx. 15 min) on the traditional reed boats (optional). After a 3-hour crossing we reach the island of Amantani. On disembarking at the port, the group is divided into smaller groups to rest in the rural homes of the various Amantani families. A typical lunch is served with the assigned families; at dusk we set off on a hike to the highest point of the island, known as "Pacha Tata", to watch the sunset. There our guide gives us a brief description of the island's main features and peculiarities. After dinner the designated family dresses us in their typical costumes and leads us to the community hall, where we have a small celebration. On returning, we spend the night in the rural homes designated for each group.

Day 2: Amantani – Taquile
Breakfast at the rural home, then we begin our tour at 8:00 a.m. heading towards the island of Taquile. After approx. 1 hour of sailing, we reach this island. On disembarking at the port, we begin a gradual uphill walk to the main square of the island (approx. 45 min of gentle walking) to visit the community cooperative where their weavings are displayed. The guide tells us about the inhabitants' way of life and their famous textile craft, which was declared "intangible cultural heritage of humanity" by UNESCO. Next we have lunch at one of the local restaurants. After lunch we descend a route of 500 steps to the main port (optional route). At approximately 1:00 p.m. we board for Puno (approx. 3 hours of sailing). Return to Puno at 4:00 p.m., and the end of all our services.

No habrá devolución ni postergación cuando el usuario de los servicios turísticos incumpla por no presentarse (NO SHOW) o no utilizar los servicios adquiridos en las fechas pactadas.
Para devoluciones en caso de fuerza mayor, caso fortuito o incapacidad médica del titular de la reserva o un familiar en primer grado de consanguinidad, deberá presentarse toda la documentación que acredite cualquiera de estos casos con un mínimo 24 horas antes de la fecha del viaje, esta información deberá ser remitida vía email: reservas@tierramilenaria.com
