Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1
Pick-up from your accommodation in Nazca (provided it is near the historic centre) between 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., in a vehicle known as a Buggy or Tubular that is suited to the desert. We will visit archaeological sites such as pre-Inca cemeteries where you can observe original tombs containing mummies together with the archaeological objects with which they were buried. We will also enter the Ocongalla Aqueduct located in the Nazca Valley, built around the year 500 A.D. It is one of the beautiful attractions in Nazca; the water flows from deep within the earth and around it grow medicinal plants such as the willow and the castor bean.
For the construction of this aqueduct the ancient Nazca Civilisation used rounded river stones extracted from the Nazca river, irrigating the nearby agricultural crops.
Then we will head to the Ceremonial Centre of Cahuachi, which is built of adobe and is made up of several truncated pyramids. It was the most important Ceremonial and Ritual Centre of the Nazca Civilisation and developed around the year 400 A.D. It was a place for making offerings related to agriculture, as this was their main activity. You can see imposing adobe constructions, several large temples, extensive plazas and platforms, as well as a complex network of interconnected stairways and corridors.
Then we will head off on the adventure to ride over the sand dunes, doing stunts, and on the high parts to practise Sandboarding. Our driver and guide is trained to safely teach you how to slide over the sand.
Stop at a textile or pottery workshop.
Return to the historic centre of Nazca at approximately 6:00 p.m., and the end of all our services.

Las postergaciones se pueden realizar sin ningún costo adicional vía email a: reservas@tierramilenaria.com , detallando el motivo, con un mínimo de 24 horas antes de la salida del recorrido turístico que se quiera postergar. No se aceptará postergaciones de ningún tipo fuera del plazo señalado.
No habrá devolución ni postergación cuando el usuario de los servicios turísticos incumpla por no presentarse (NO SHOW) o no utilizar los servicios adquiridos en las fechas pactadas.
Para devoluciones en caso de fuerza mayor, caso fortuito o incapacidad médica del titular de la reserva o un familiar en primer grado de consanguinidad, deberá presentarse toda la documentación que acredite cualquiera de estos casos con un mínimo 24 horas antes de la fecha del viaje, esta información deberá ser remitida vía email: reservas@tierramilenaria.com
