Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1
Our tour begins at 06:30 a.m. We make a stop in the district of Zamacola so you can do your last shopping. The first point we visit is the village of Pampa de Arrieros and its old train station; we make a stop at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve to observe vicuñas and at the Patahuasi sector so you can have an Inca herbal tea or something to eat.
10:15 a.m.
We head towards the stone forest, stopping at the Carlitos viewpoint for a view of the Arequipa volcanoes. We will begin a walk of approximately 40 minutes in the stone forest, enjoying the incomparable scenery. The stone forest is a natural site with strange rock formations and stone columns, where your imagination and the fun will have no limits, and you can take photos. Continuing the tour by car, we reach the Pillones settlement where the Pillones – Pausa waterfall is located. On arriving at the waterfall you can see rocks moulded by the erosion of the water; you can carefully go down to the waterfall, and once there you can take photos and enjoy the landscape and nature.
Finally we return to the city of Arequipa, arriving at approximately 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.
