Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Rafting is a thrilling experience on the Chili River just 20 minutes from the centre of Arequipa. The stretch covered on the river is 6 km, lasting approximately 1:00 to 1:15 hrs., with rapids of an easy difficulty grade (level II and III); it is along this route that the Chilina valley is admired in all its splendour, where at the same time the three volcanoes of our city, Misti, Chachani and Pichupicchu, can be seen.

The tour, whose total duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes, begins with the pick-up of passengers, which will be from your accommodation and/or the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa. We will transfer to our base of operations where the relevant equipment will be handed out, with all sizes available for both men and women, before heading to the starting point located at the grotto of the Virgin of Chapi-Arequipa; where the appropriate instructions will be given. It is worth noting that no experience is needed, as our professional guides will know how to teach you the skills required for this thrilling adventure sport, and in addition our team of guides is highly trained and very experienced in the field.

At the end of the route you will be offered a snack consisting of a bottle of water and a biscuit, and that is the end of all our services.

We recommend bringing:

Sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

Sunglasses.

Suitable clothing for the river.

Sandals and a towel.

A change of clothes.
