Punta Olímpica Tunnel (4,735 m)
The highest trans-Andean tunnel in the Americas and the fifth highest in the world. Built in 2013, 1,387 metres long.
Cancaracá Grande and Chico Lakes
Two glacial lakes near the tunnel with emerald-coloured waters. An unmissable photo stop.
Village of Chacas
A colonial village famous for its wood carvings made by the Don Bosco cooperative. Houses with carved balconies that are true works of art. Colonial church with a gold-leaf altar.
Lunch at a local restaurant in Chacas
