Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1
We begin our tour at 09:15 a.m. to visit the following places:
Tipón: An impressive large area of cultivation containing 12 terraces that are still farmed today, whose walls were built with finely carved stones. Even more impressive is the irrigation system that still serves agriculture, with the advantage of the water intake in the spring season.
Piquillaqta: It presents the characteristics of a great urban centre corresponding to the time of development of the Wari empire, with more than a thousand constructions including plazas, colcas (food stores), enclosures or dwellings, temples, and long, narrow streets with buildings that were up to 4 storeys high.
Andahuaylillas: A typical Andean village from colonial times of singular origin and architecture. Andahuaylillas stands out for its Catholic church from the colonial era with beautiful decoration and mural painting from the 17th and 18th centuries, known as the Sistine Chapel of Cusco. On the way back we will pass by the Cielo Punku Viewpoint, which offers a beautiful view over the Huaro valley surrounded by magical mountains.
We will be returning to the city of Cusco at approximately 15:30 hrs, and the end of all our services.
