Day 1
DEPARTURES: SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS ONLY.
TRAVEL ITINERARY.
4:45 – 5:00 a.m. – Pick-up from your hotel (provided it is close to the historic centre) or from the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa.
Breakfast prepared in a traditional oven or in Alto Pedregal (not included).
8:00 a.m.
We visit the Toro Muerto Petroglyphs, the largest petroglyph reserve in the world, with enormous stones carved by the ancient inhabitants in the middle of the desert (a walk of approximately 1 hour). We also visit the traditional village of Corire, as well as the petrified dinosaur tracks preserved by the Querulpa Park (a walk of approximately 45 minutes). Here we can admire life-size replicas of these prehistoric animals, crafted with great detail and realism. We can also see a small museum with fossilised dinosaur bones. On reaching the top, we finally observe tracks left by dinosaurs that lived in Arequipa millions of years ago.
12:00 noon – We visit the Chancharay bathing spot, where we take a refreshing dip.
1:00 p.m.
We visit a restaurant in Aplao (not included). There are various options, but it is highly recommended to try dishes made with fresh prawns from the Majes River (not available during the closed season).
We continue our journey with a visit to the Quiskay suspension bridge, going a little further to get a close-up view of a geological formation known as the Profile of Christ.
Before setting off back to Arequipa at 5:00 p.m., we make a final stop at one of the vineyards in the Majes Valley, where the secrets of making pisco and wine are explained to us while we enjoy a varied tasting.

Rescheduling and Refund Policy
Las postergaciones se pueden realizar sin ningún costo adicional vía email a: reservas@tierramilenaria.com , detallando el motivo, con un mínimo de 24 horas antes de la salida del recorrido turístico que se quiera postergar. No se aceptará postergaciones de ningún tipo fuera del plazo señalado.
No habrá devolución ni postergación cuando el usuario de los servicios turísticos incumpla por no presentarse (NO SHOW) o no utilizar los servicios adquiridos en las fechas pactadas.
Para devoluciones en caso de fuerza mayor, caso fortuito o incapacidad médica del titular de la reserva o un familiar en primer grado de consanguinidad, deberá presentarse toda la documentación que acredite cualquiera de estos casos con un mínimo 24 horas antes de la fecha del viaje, esta información deberá ser remitida vía email: reservas@tierramilenaria.com
